I see you there, doing so much on your own, wishing there was someone you could call to give you a hand with the laundry, or sending that email you’ve been postponing for weeks, or just listening for 10minutes to what’s been weighting in your heart.

I see you, tired of the selfishness and pain you witness everywhere (at work, in the news…) exhausted at the end of the day, and still wishing you could help others even more (your kid who’s struggling in school, the older neighbour who looks like they’re not doing so well, the person of colour being harassed…)

I see you always there for others, but still dreaming of a life that has space for you too, for creativity and play, for a dining table full of laughter and stories. You who dream of a day-to-day shared with caring people that allows you to be light and joyful again.

You dream of these things because they are in your DNA, because it’s the way your ancestors used to do it – and it is possible to experience it again.

On 23^rd November I will be hosting the first Connection Playground in Perth (Scotland).

It will be a space to slow down, notice what happens within you when you’re interacting with another human, and exercise your capacity for imperfect connection.
During this in-person event, you will explore traditional practices and innovative ways of thinking that underpin human connection and mutual aid based in freedom and generosity instead of guilt and shame.

In other words, you’ll experience and practice how care can be energising instead of depleting – and spoiler alert: the way to do this has little to do what you’ve been told.

This will be a space for you if you prioritise authenticity, vulnerability, courage and social change. If you want to give and receive more. If you are ready for better connections.
